This will be the last piece I do related to Virginia Tech for quite some time. As I said, I’ve been neglecting certain internal things and need to tend to them, as well as the duties of daily living and real-world connecting. But a few final things to consider. And that is the odd symbolism of the violence at Virginia Tech.
For example, the date of the shooting, feels a bit odd to me and not just because it occurred so close to the anniversary of Columbine. Afterall, per the highly edited and “framed” information coming from NBC, the AP and elsewhere, we’re told Cho referenced that event. No, that’s not what feels odd–there’s more. First, there’s the fact that the shooting occurred 32 days after the reported death of Charles Harrelson on March 15th. Harrelson, the father of activist-actor Woody Harrelson, died as a convicted hitman who once confessed to assassinating John F. Kennedy. 32, of course, also tallies to the number of people Cho Seung-Hui murdered before killing himself.
More on the number 32 in a moment, but let’s look again at the date of Cho’s killings:
April 16, 2007.
Adding up the numbers on either side of the comma/placeholder numerologically (we’ll take April as “4″ since it’s the fourth month), we get:
4+1+6, 2+0+0+7=11, 9, and reversing that, we get 9, 11 or 9/11. Perhaps there’s more to the Viriginia Tech “9/11 of school shootings” meme than the simple hypnotic linking of one media-disseminated trauma to a previous one…
Then, as Kent Bentowski over at Kentroversy points out there’s this:
Cho Seung-Hui was 23 years old and, incidentally, his handwritten statement of why he was going to do what he did was exactly 23 pages in length. Qabalistically, the number 23 refers to removed and separated, which was precisely how this young man’s personality was said to be. An inverse of the 23 could be found in the 32 people he killed…[emphasis added]
And in regards to the number of Cho’s age, 23, it’s symbolically resonant to note that the 23rd hexagram of the I Ching means “splitting apart” and, per the paranormality site, is associated with “disintegration” and the “finality of death.” Further, referring to this site, which is quoting the 1989 Penguin/ARCANA translation of the I Ching:
The dark lines are about to mount upwards and overthrow the last firm, light line by exerting a disintegrating influence on it. The inferior dark forces overcome what is superior and strong, not by direct means but by undermining it gradually and imperceptibly, so that it finally collapses.
One might suspect that the “inferior dark forces” refer to Cho, but also to the powers and principalities back of Cho’s homicidal malaise, while the superior and strong which is felled gradually and imperceptibly, represents both the victims (which might also include Cho himself) and the society, its democratic ideals, and the animating spirit of individual and nation.
As for those powers and principalities, might those particular “inferior dark forces” represent the so-called government under W (the 23rd letter of our alphabet)? Maybe. Maybe not. I’ll step back from that ledge for the moment, even though the speculation about psyops and false flag terror in Virginia has already begun. But just because I’m stepping back, doesn’t mean we should dismiss the possibility outright until, as Jordan Maxwell says, we do our homework.
23-32-33
And one might begin to wonder if the release of The Number 23 earlier this year, with its themes of murder and suicide, college-age romantic obsession and stalking, paranoia, psychiatric turmoil and institutionalization, might have been a purposeful twisting of the 23 meme (Robert Anton Wilson’s 23 enigma) for darker purposes, a cinematic magickal working of sorts…but perhaps we’ll draw back from that edge, lest we end up in a room of mirrors before we’ve gained the character of Bruce Lee’s dragon…
Then there’s the matter of the total number of deaths at Virginia Tech on Monday, which was thirty-three, a number that has quite a few symbolic resonances itself. To quote Kent Bentowski again:
33 is one of the Master Numbers in numerology, and is centrally important to both Freemasons and other worshippers of the SUN. 33 is the highest publically known degree in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and the reason why it is so important to those involved in Solar Worship theologies, is because the Sun enters each zodiacal house at thirty degrees. Once the width of the sun itself is calculated, it is the 33rd degree that we are left with. The 33 itself refers to destruction and the sorrow, weeping and mourning of a highly destructive event.
And as we check the wikipedia page for the number 33, right down at the bottom you’ll find this item, referring to Virginia Tech:
Coincidentally, the perpetrator is 23 years old, and he killed 32 people (not including himself) – creating a 23-32 pattern, notice the 33 embedded between the two 2’s.
So what does it all mean? I don’t know–maybe I’m experiencing laziness or exhaustion and “I don’t know” represents an easy answer, but maybe it’s an honest answer, too. Sometimes meaning is something beyond words and beyond sense.
Some Other Strange Shadows
*As already mentioned elsewhere, the reported shooter, Cho Seung-Hui, has a sister who works for a corporation connected to intelligence work and is herself listed as a contractor for the State Department.
* Virginia Tech’s horticulture department houses the very rare Amorphophallus
titanum plant, a.k.a. the “corpse plant.”
* Cho’s play “Richard McBeef” references the killings of John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe, both of which events have been subjects of conspiracy research for years.
*On the very same day as the Virginia Tech massacre, this odd synchronicity in Rochester, Michigan. From the Associated Content press site:
When school officials canceled school today at four Rochester, Michigan schools, undoubtedly they had fears of a Columbine-style incident in their own community. Little did they know that later that day, a worse scenario would unfold at one of the nation’s leading universities, Virginia Tech. While some parents questioned the wisdom of shuttering two of Rochester Community Schools high schools, Rochester Adams High School and Rochester High School, as well as two of the school district’s middle schools, Van Hoosen Middle School and West Middle School.
Authorities state that the threat against the four schools was too detailed to be ignored. According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, an anonymous threat under the heading “All The Students Will Die” specifically named the four schools, discussed specific explosives to be used.” (Martindale and Greenwood) The e-mail went on to state that what occurred on 9/11 would pale in comparison to what would happen at Rochester Community Schools on April 15, 2007. Fortunately, school administrators acted on the threats before anything could occur.
Did you notice in Cho’s play that he used phrases like “must kill Dick”, “Dick must die.” These are like the phrases found in Sirhan Sirhan’s notebook after he shot RFK: “RFK must die”, “must kill RFK.”
I did notice that, as well as the references to abuse and pedophilia, which could tie into all sorts of things in terms of creating split personalities via that type of trauma, which, various sources, including Levenda’s Sinster Forces series, ties to MK Ultra programs aimed at creating real-life Manchurian candidates. It’s a huge subject, barbh, as you probably know…
I know I want to cover it in the future, but I’m beginning to suffer a little burn-out, so it’ll have to wait for a bit.
Oh, wow, silly me– I left out the letter “D” in “reading” by fumble-fingers. Let us see what that means.
The killings occurred on the 16th– that’s FOUR squared or FOUR times FOUR– day of the FOURth month!
It happened FOUR days before Columbine.
D is the fourth letter of the English alphabet. It is also the FOURth letter of the Greek alphabet. I went to Greece in April a few years ago. I ate Greek food the week before the VT killings.
“Reading” is a form of “read,” which has FOUR letters. Creepy.
I type with FOUR fingers (I never picked up on using the thumb for the space bar).
Cho’s birthday is January 18 and he died on April 16. There are 88 days between those dates or two times FOURty FOUR, or twenty-two times FOUR. He had turned 23 in January, so he was in his twenty-FOURth year of life.
“Mass murderer” has 12 letters, or FOUR times 3.
Cho was born on January 16, 1984 (1/18/1984). remove all the numbers that are divisible by 4 and what do you get? Nines and ones, just like there are in 9/11!
He was born in 1984 (divisible by 4), immigrated to the US in 1992 (divisible by 4) when he was 8 (divisible by 4). His family lived 40km (divisible by 4) outside of Washington DC and about 4 (divisible by 4) miles south of Dulles airport.
April 16 is the day Masada fell to the Romans in the year 73. 7 minus 3 is FOUR.
Also on 4/16/1972 Apollo 16 was launched. All these numbers are divisible by FOUR.
And all of it means zip.
Maybe.
i’ve had strange things happen to me that breaks rules of rationality. for instance, take the dream i had a few days before the virginia shooting. I’ve had some precognitive dreams that came true (and plenty of nightmares that didn’t.) A few days before the Virginia Tech shooting, I had this dream: a man with a gun with orange fire coming out of it was stalking down narrow hallways, shooting people who fled out of his way. He had a strangely robotic and determined way of moving–he was just walking down and nothing was going to stop him. There was mass panic as people fled, it looked like people couldnt escape, and i was somehow in the middle of all this adn i was terrified. I was so terrified i woke up with my heart pounding and i stayed away for a while, because i was too scared to go back to sleep.
The next morning i complained to my sister-in-law and nephew (3 year old) about what a terrible nightmare i had seen. I thought it was because of something unfamiliar i had eaten at dinner. My nephew asked me what it was, but because he was small, and he plays with guns, and i live in a country with civil conflict where people with guns are not unusual, i didnt’ tell him, because i didnt want to scare him.
It didnt occur to me there might be a connection when i heard the news. I felt empathy, sympathy, and sadness when i read the stories, but i wasnt frightened. Then a few days later we were cleaning the kitchen and my sis-in-law asked me casually about my nightmare and as i started to describe it to her i thought: oh my god! thats what it was. It was a moment of recognition, or putting together, of dream and TV news coverage. I relived, for a moment, the actual physical terror I had felt in hte dream.
Unfortunately the problem with my precognitive dreams is that there is no identifying information–there was no sign to tell me it was Virginia Tech or even a university, no sign of which country it was (I live outside the US now) and no sign that this was precognitive rather than an unusually bad dream after an unfamiliar dinner.
All of this could mean zip. Or it could mean that some things are pre-planned within an orderly margins within the chaos, in which case all those number crunching comes in handy. Perhaps Morgan Stanley should hire psychic analysts to crunch numbers about future probabilites
. The problem, of course, is that psychics can’t perform on demand…
I had a similarly ominous dream the morning before. I was in an office and everyone there was watching footage of John Lennon, which suddenly changed to breaking news about an attack killing 1040 people in Iran and the date it was to happen; and then there was darkness, people cloistered in doors because of a curfew and some other details; a man telling me about people being in hiding…I woke up thinking something bad was about to happen. The next day, was Virginia Tech and despite it being very different from the dream, it got me very nervous. The date in the dream came and went though without anything happening. So who knows.
Your dream is very intense and disturbingly accurate. I know those kinds of dreams happen, and also that they often lack any details to tell you where and when they’ll happen. Maybe that’s the nature of it. Jeff Wells makes that case in a recent post at his site:
