Electronic Ether Walk Down the Block (Further Shout-Outs)

This won’t be a full-on article or essay, by any means. I’m simply hoping to highlight some suggestive stirrings going on from several other e-houses on the eso and deep political research block this week.

First, allow me to plug my guest-spot on The Kentroversy Tapes. I’m thankful to Kent Daniel Bentkowski for the invite and I had a good time. The conversation also gave me some inspiration for some upcoming writing. Particularly, I’m hoping to clarify my thoughts about celebrity idolatry and the issue of making money (which I’m not necessarily against) from the kind of writing, research and investigation that folks like Kentroversy, Freeman, and others do.

Alex Constantine, one of the legends of this work, has posted an article by Andrew Phillips regarding Rupert Murdoch’s takeover of the Dow Jones company, which publishes the Wall Street Journal. The move brings things one step closer to an out in the open, fully controlled, de-facto fascist State here in America (regardless of what new name they give it this time around), but fear not, lest you become paralyzed.

Austin suggests avoiding spending money on any FOX media as a boycott. That would entail a hell of a personal education to pull off, wouldn’t it? Who’s got the guts for it? :
