You may have noticed things have slowed to a crawl here. I’m working some things out. I know what some of those things I’m working out are; others I don’t know about, not in my half-waking, daily consciousness.
And it’s as good a time as any to go into a brief silence through to the end of this year. I may post one or two little bits, but mostly this field will like fallow until 2008 comes in.
I’m ten and a half months into this site, this project, and now feel myself at an impasse. Or maybe just a moment of burnout.
I do plan to get back to the analysis of S 1959–hopefully, I’ll do that while it’s still useful.
I also intend to do a few interviews (more on that when I return; they’re pending–one person’s agreed to it; I just have to get my questions in order and follow up; the others are theoretical at the moment).
I may also finally get around to revising and expanding the G.I. Joe piece; and finishing the Rapture series and the Trinity of Shrinks series I started way back. That, though, may depend on the direction this website endeavor takes–or where it ends up in my priorities.
Before a New Year, many cultures’ traditions incorporate a cleaning and clearing out of one’s physical, mental and emotional environments and an opening to the energy and opportunity of things to come.
There’s always quite a lot to do in working upon oneself and one’s relationship with Life and the brunt of it is best done off-line.
Best in these final days of Spectacular Year 2007, to everyone who has read, commented or inspired this virtual place over the past ten plus months.
May you all grow wiser, healthier, stronger, more connected and more surrounded by love in the year ahead.
Peace.
The trouble with things like S 1959 is that when you stare into the abyss, it stares back into you. It’s not just what it says, it’s how it makes you feel when you read it. A lot of danger here.
But you’re right, this is a time of new beginnings. And in my experience that feeling of knowing something’s near but not knowing what it is is an important one. The crossroads is a significant place to be.
Have a good Xmas.
