On my way back.  Give it a few weeks.  In the meantime, here’s one of the most arresting segments from Richard Kelly’s ambitiously uneven, much-maligned and little-seen Southland Tales.  Those of the rabbit hole persuasion and well-read arch-ironists alike should appreciate the movie immensely, what with its multiple layers of symbolism and the use of the Eye-in-the-Pyramid as symbol of the happless, delusional, neo-Marxist revolutionaries who fight against the crass, neo-conservative technocrats who run the State.  In the movie, that is.  There’s also some of that ol’ time apocalyptic religion to boot.

Watch this clip closely.  You might miss something:

The Players

In Donnie Darko, Donnie plays our resident Christ. His story is The_Last_Temptation_of_Christ re-enacted in a messed-up white-bred, country-club town in the late 80’s.

Jim Cunningham, the attractive, single, secret pedophile, with the Tony Robbins- meets- Nancy Reagan motivational speaker shtick, plays our resident Antichrist.

And Frank, the “Evil Dead” in the big bunny suit, does the Satan thing, acting as the in-film tempter/trickster.

AntiChrist Superstar: Jim Cunningham is Indeed a Cunning Ham

Contrary to what Donnie proclaims at the school assembly, not everything Jim Cunningham says is a lie. He wouldn’t be a very good Antichrist if that were true. No, see he’s the Antichrist precisely because he says the truth, but presents it in a false way.  Take his whole chart of Fear and Love, for example.  This chart shows us how everything exists on some continuum between Fear and Love and that, where there’s Love and you love yourself, blah, blah, blue-dee-bloo, there is no fear. Conversely, where there is Fear, according to the chart, Love is not. This is basically true stuff. Deeply true. The real shit. However, Cunningham presents this truth in a very superficial way that doesn’t require folks to really do anything different than they always have.  In his presentation, no one is really required to be different, either–to be their true selves, without bullshit.

Jim Cunningham presents the truth about Love and Fear as if all one need do is watch his video tapes, buy a set of life line exercise cards, say the right answers and parrot a bunch of Jim Cunninghamisms in order to be saved and end hir personal suffering.  All Jim Cunningham asks is that you buy the illusion of facing Fear, the illusion of letting it go and accepting Love. All he asks is that you become a bad actor.

You can see the results of buying into Jim Cunningham in Ms. Farmer, with her maudlin histrionics over Donnie’s behavior, the palpable fear in her eyes when he seems to upset the way her Jim Cunningham patented lesson plan is supposed to go. And you can see it in the chi-chi female friend of Ms. Darko, with her studied wine glass dangle, her spouting of Jim Cunninghamism slogans, the way she fawns over the image of Jim Cunningham she has painted with her mind.  Neither of these middle-aged, fawning, Cunningham acolytes seems very self-aware, much less saved or born again in the true sense.

Now we’re ready for the biggest reason why Jim Cunningham is the Antichrist.

He’s the Antichrist because he represents himself as an embodiment of pure Love, of having his shit together, when, in fact, Love is a thing he knows nothing about. He’s an exploiter, riddled with fear and guilt: guilt over his kiddie porn compulsions–guilt and fear over what he’s capable of and what he can’t stop himself from doing, which is psychically eating the young, and selling their corrupted images. And of course, he is filled with the Fear of being found out as a fraud and a pervert. But maybe he’s only a fraud and a pervert because he’s never known Love. Sure, intellectually he knows it–how else could he sell his motivational tapes? He knows Love is, but he Fears giving up to it, sacrificing everything he’d need to sacrifice in order to experience it–which is his identity as a very respectable, wealthy, influential and inspirational faker and pervert.

Because he does not embody true Love himself, simply masked fear, he can’t help but sell a one-size fits all system for getting Love. In turn, he has to get the buyer to squeeze hirself into that one size, distorting and warping themselves. (See Ms. Farmer and the chi-chi painter above.)

That’s what makes Jim Cunningham the Antichrist: he’s a false image of the True and he promotes the creation of more mirrors of himself to obscure the truth that he is not.

That Devil Frank is Frankly Tricky

Frank plays Satan, the tempter and the trickster. He seems to help Donnie out by saving his life, thereby establishing himself as trustworthy. Yet soon enough, he performs the greatest mind-fuck of all, like any good Ascended Master or Beneficent Space Brother who has whispered to a Madam Blavatsky, David Icke or a thin Rael. The mind-fuck Frank performs is the mind-fuck of prophecy. He tells Donnie exactly when the world will end, a feat which no one is given to know (at least per the Good Book Lollipop). Having “saved” Donnie from a brush with death, he dangles the Ultimate Death in front of him: Apocalypse. But this, is really just the Anti-Death, in the same way Jim Cunningham is the Anti-Christ. (More on that later.)

Through this prophetic mind-fuckery, Donnie is entrained to frequencies of Fear, which is why he so easily can suss out Jim Cunningham. Those enthralled by Fear can recognize each other; where Cunningham’s and Darko’s respective character differs  lies the source of the enmity between them.

Having gained Donnie’s trust with his tricks, Satan-Frank then offers Donnie a taste of power through chaos. He sets him the task of flooding the school, sowing suspicion and tension, but also laying down a temptation-traps for Donnie in the form of a bevy of ego-attachments: to a romantic love, to a new-found rebel identity, to further pain and suffering and adolescent disconnection from his mother and his peers, not to mention torment at the hands of coked-up bullies (future Senators, no doubt).

Frank then tempts him with the gift of secret knowledge: the knowledge of Time Travel. (Kal /Ahriman/the Demiurge represents Time and Entropy, Fear and Eternal Recurrence, so it’s only natural Satan-Frank would offer Power over Time.) Finally, he offers Donnie the chance to play righteous judge, through a public confrontation with Jim Cunningham and the burning of the Antichrist’s mansion. This seems at first to lead to good things, but of course, it is a set up for Frank to trap Donnie in Time, to trap him in Fear, through the Apocalypse of losing everything and everyone his ego’s attached him to–his girlfriend, his family, his friends: everything.

Donnie Christ SuperDark

What makes Donnie the Christ is his realization about the nature of the End of the World. The End of the World as he has perceived it is a false image of Death. It is everything one fears death to be, which is the taking away of everything you’ll ever have and care about against your will. The End of the World has been an eight-foot tall idea of Death, wrapped in a bunny suit and a calendar date, but the Apocalypse is not Death. So, it is the Anti-Death.

And here’s where Satan-Frank’s trick is undone, because Donnie realizes he must face Death directly, with calm. He must face the real End of the World, which is the end of him, of his finite existence. Satan-Frank gave him just enough knowledge to set Donnie up for a fall, but only if Donnie had failed to piece it together. Of course, Grandma Death herself gave Donnie a little hint:

Every living thing dies alone.

But it was up to him to figure it all out. If either Satan-Frank or Grandma death had presented him with the Truth on a silver platter, he would have never really learned it or embodied it. So, Satan-Frank is only so bad as you are stupid–or willing to blindly believe what you are told before you’ve made yourself capable of experiencing the real thing as it is on your own.

The End of the World is happening every single second. And you’ve gotta face it without fear if you’re gonna Live. And if you’re gonna Live, you’re gonna really Love and let go of suffering.

Donnie figures it out and the responsibility it entails: a certain quality of action. This is why he travels back in time to face Death head on, paradoxically saving everyone, even though they will never know it (that would never be a consolation to the false-self, would it?); and, perhaps giving them all the gift of really seeing Death for what it is, through him. In this way, he gives them the opportunity, the chance to save themselves. A choice, rather than a guarantee.

(It would be a false, Jim Cunningham guarantee, anyway. Good for the ego, not good for life.)

That’s what makes Donnie Darko the Christ.

After many years of looking for a copy in various movie rental spots, I finally had success in finding and seeing Yugoslavian director Dusan Makavejev’s 1971 film WR: Mysteries of the Organism.  WR begins as a straight-forward documentary on Wilhelm Reich whose theories on the negative public health and societal repercussions of sexual repression and societal indoctrination that disconnects individuals from consciousness (and comfort) with their own bodies.  It also touches upon Reich’s then controversial healing and weather experiments with a ubiquitous cosmic bio-energy he dubbed orgone. Slowly, though Reich becomes the subconscious background of a absurdist collage-cum-tragic story about a Yugoslavian woman Milena’s tragic love for a true-believing Russian figure skater and communist party member who shares the same first and middle name as Lenin.

For Makavejev’s efforts, he found critical acclaim abroad, but also the banning of his film both in his native Yugoslavia as well as in other countries as much for the film’s politics as for a few shots of the male member, one of which is being cast in plaster just before the film cuts to footage of a ridiculously transparent propaganda film on the life of Stalin.

I’ll leave it to you, once you’ve seen the film, to decide what the point of collaging those two bits of footage together might be.  I suspect a little Yugoslavian detournement.

The film is a very interesting time-capsule on its times, but also still resonates powerfully for me even in a world where the Soviet bloc no longer exists.  A particular stand-out scene for me takes place when the figure skater Vladimir Ilyich visits Milena’s apartment and finds a photograph of a bunch of fawning women crowded around Adolph Hitler.  At first he takes it for a collage, but Milena informs him that it is an authentic picture.  He then questions why she keeps such a thing in her apartment.

Her answer is illuminating.

Milena asks Vladimir to look at the faces of the women surrounding Hitler.  She calls them “cows” and “slaves” and is disgusted by them for giving up all their vital sexual energy in service of this madman, who “just sits there”, absorbing it all.  For her, the picture is a reminder of what happens when individuals give up their own power and life energy to worship an authority or an ideology that can only care about them as an abstract concept like “the people” or “humanity” while hating them, abusing them and discarding them in actuality.  She’s making a point about Russian Stalinism as well as its rival, German fascism; but she could be making a point about quite a few things that are still with us today.

Ironically, in her disgust for the German women who fell for Hitler, Milena reveals herself to likewise suffer from the very same emotional plague they carried and that her idol Wilhelm Reich warned against.  We find the proof of that in her hopeless love for a “good” party man, the “People’s” figure skater Vladimir Ilyich whose capacity for loving anything other than his ideology is deeply in question.

Standing on the subway at two a.m., I see two movie posters side by side and I begin to sense the unsettling nature of the current zeitgeist. Call them Signs and Signifiers of the Spectacular Times.

I first saw the poster for this movie:

And to it’s right, I saw the poster for this one:

The tag lines–or maybe I should say command lines–much like the dire, bellicose, “us versus them” themes of the two movies seem to fit together uncomfortably well.

All bets are off. Trust No One.

Even the feel of the posters work together. Sand and dust. Ominous, storm clouds. A ravaged city landscape in the distance. In the first poster, the urban tomb lays in front of the heavily armed protagonist. In the second, it lays behind and around our warrior protagonists.

In each poster, we see the obvious physical signifiers of the illusory “clash of civilizations” many of us have lived through in our minds, just as we’ve dutifully entrained ourselves to. Resident evil gives us the symbols of “western decadence” (Las Vegas), western hopes of liberty (the semi-submerged faux Statue of Liberty at Vegas) and western governance (the solar phallus of the Washington monument), as well as the western revolutionary and counter-revolutionary faiths (the Eiffel Tower). On the other hand, we have the symbols of the mysterious, inscrutable and “backwards,” to western social programming, opposing civilization: the Middle East (represented by faux Sphinx and Great Pyramid). Similarly, the poster for The Kingdom shows us the embodiment of western inclusiveness and technological advancement in the image of a black man (Jamie Foxx) and a woman (Jennifer Gardner) leading the charge with sophisticated weaponry while the white guy stands behind in the distance (and, yes, this symbolism can be read differently than the producers might like you to). The “enemy,” meanwhile, remains just as inscrutable and mysterious as in the Resident Evil poster by not being present in the main picture at all. You’ll get the point, nonetheless, if you notice that Jamie Foxx’s gun, despite the cropping of the picture, points straight down at the silhouette of the Saudi capital at the bottom of the poster.

Is it just a coincidence that these movies are coming out so close together? Resident Evil opens on September 21st, 2007. The Kingdom opens a week later on September 28, 2007. What fortuitous timing for these two releases, what with all the pre-false-flag/ artificial terror attack chatter we’ve heard all summer long from the likes of Deutschland–excuse me–Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff’s gut, plus the talk that the psychopaths in charge over here may plan an attack on the psychopaths in charge over there in Iran as a special 9/11 anniversary “gift” to us. Either way, a group of psychopaths will win and lots of innocent people will die or be further enslaved on both sides of the ocean.

Today I received a message from a friend who has excellent connections in Washington and whose information has often been prescient. According to this report, as in 2002, the rollout will start after Labor Day, with a big kickoff on September 11. My friend had spoken to someone in one of the leading neo-conservative institutions. He summarized what he was told this way:

They [the source's institution] have “instructions” (yes, that was the word used) from the Office of the Vice-President to roll out a campaign for war with Iran in the week after Labor Day; it will be coordinated with the American Enterprise Institute, the Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard, Commentary, Fox, and the usual suspects. It will be heavy sustained assault on the airwaves, designed to knock public sentiment into a position from which a war can be maintained. Evidently they don’t think they’ll ever get majority support for this–they want something like 35-40 percent support, which in their book is “plenty.”

Of course I cannot verify this report. But besides all the other pieces of information about this circulating, I heard last week from a former U.S. government contractor. According to this friend, someone in the Department of Defense called, asking for cost estimates for a model for reconstruction in Asia. The former contractor finally concluded that the model was intended for Iran.

And that little computer-enhanced exercise in anti-Iran psy-ops, 300, just got released on dvd this past month. Fancy, that.

Then, of course, there’s the recent, mysterious $900 million dollar bet on a stock market crash in the third week of September, the same time-frame for the releases of Resident Evil:Extinction and The Messenger. Curious. That stock bet by the way, is also oddly reminiscent of the put options placed on American Airlines stock, options that were to be called in on September 11, 2001 when an American airlines flight happened to conveniently slam into the World Trade Center.

But before you get all paranoid, wait. Still yourself. Breathe in. Exhale. Let go.

The doom and gloom is not all inevitable, not even at this moment. It can be stopped.

A Primer on Our Spectacular Times, Courtesy a Dead, Bored French Guy

If you’re already part of the choir, you’re probably following these fleeting thoughts pretty easily and with an awareness of where they’re going. If you’ve stumbled upon this post from a random internet search or the like, you might assume what I’ve been hinting at is something pretty insane. Either way, you’d be well served by making acquaintance with a dead Frenchman, Guy Debord, the first person to analyze The Spectacle comprehensively.

What exactly is the Spectacle I’m talking about? Well, here’s as good a summation as any. From Debord’s final work on the topic, the Comments [emphasis added]:

In 1967, in a book entitled The Society of the Spectacle, I showed what the modern spectacle was already in essence: the autocratic reign of the market economy which had acceded to an irresponsible sovereignty, and the totality of new techniques of government which accompanied this reign…

I’ll do my best to translate his quote for you. We currently reside in a world that is ruled by structures entirely dependent on commodity economics, that includes industries, such as the “entertainment” industry, of which the movies and the “news” are just different flavors. These structures also includes national and international corporations, traditional, national governments and the rival cliques of powerful elites entrenched within them. Each individual existing under the sphere of influence of these groups also end up serving the commodity structure, as well as becoming a commodity within it. In order for this system and its interdependent power structures to survive, it must expand. It must produce more commodities: things to be bought and sold. Its greatest power seems a magkical one, that of conjuring. For it is by producing images, and spectacles for individual consumption that our identities are reshaped to more fully serve this commodity-driven, market society. The ethereal– signs and images and ideas or “memes,” as our cultural hipsters would have it– are marketed, sold and consumed. The “idea” of a “War on Terror,” the idea of “market economies” and “globalism” or “progress” or “Christian family values:” these seldom are conjured, disseminated or consumed by themselves because the logic of the system can only value them insofar as they support the commodity-based social structure. The spectacle is a system in which any values other than that of selling and buying is transformed into a “ghost,” a shadow of itself that only exists to serve the Spectacle. Thus we get more and more spectacles and commodities of freedom like patriotic t-shirts, Toby Keith albums and sentimental 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina anniversary specials on TV while, at the same time, we get less and less genuine freedom.

But I’m getting ahead of things, sorry. You’ll appreciate the analysis of Hegelian dialectics at work Debord gives us next [emphasis added]:

In 1967, I distinguished two rival and successive forms of spectacular power, the concentrated and the diffuse. Both of them floated above real society, as its goal and its lie. The former, favoring the ideology condensed around a dictatorial personality, had accomplished the totalitarian counter-revolution, fascist as well as Stalinist. The latter, driving wage-earners to apply their freedom of choice to the vast range of new commodities now on offer, had represented the Americanization of the world, a process which in some respects frightened but also successfully seduced those countries where it had been possible to maintain traditional forms of bourgeois democracy. Since then a third form has been established, through the rational combination of these two, and on the basis of a general victory of the form which showed itself stronger: the diffuse. This is the integrated spectacle, which has since tended to impose itself globally.

I’m suddenly reminded of Frank Zappa’s astute statement that politics is the entertainment wing of industry.

But back to our regularly scheduled essay.

What I’m using the words of this very brilliant, tragic and dead Frenchman to tell you is that there is an integration between the machinations of the political players working towards war and the spectacular entertainments presented to us by Hollywood.

Please don’t think I’m talking about a “Them,” in the shape of shadowy cigar chomping white guys in some darkly-lit room somewhere, centrally controlling everything and everyone. Not saying those white guys don’t exist, but no one faction of them controls everything, nor is likely to, though Something[1], seems in charge.

Here’s Debord again:

The integrated spectacle shows itself to be simultaneously concentrated and diffuse, and ever since the fruitful union of the two has learnt to employ both these qualities on a grander scale. Their former mode of application has changed considerably. As regards concentration, the controlling center has now become occult never to be occupied by a known leader, or clear ideology.

For those who have come to recognize that W. is not really in charge, but is merely a middle manager, the representation of a leader, that’s no surprise. Still, Debord’s analysis may start to clear things up for “rational” people who keep looking for a a logical reason why the name, rules and purpose of the game appear to keep shifting.

Continuing [emphasis added]:

[O]n the diffuse side, the spectacle has never before put its mark to such a degree on almost the full range of socially produced behavior and objects. For the final sense of the integrated spectacle is this–that it has integrated itself into reality to the same extent as it was describing it, and that it was reconstructing it as it was describing it. As a result, this reality no longer confronts the integrated spectacle as something alien. When the spectacle was concentrated, the greater part of surrounding society escaped it; when diffuse, a small part; today, no part. The spectacle has spread itself to the point where it now permeates reality. It was easy to predict in theory what has been quickly and universally demonstrated by practical experience of economic reason’s relentless accomplishments: that the globalisation of the false was also the falsification of the globe.

Beyond a legacy of old books and old buildings, still of some significance but destined to continual reduction and, moreover, increasingly highlighted and classified to suit the spectacle’s requirements, there remains nothing, in culture or in nature, which has not been transformed, and polluted, according to the means and interests of modern industry. Even genetics has become readily accessible to the dominant social forces.

Spectacular government[...]now possesses all the means necessary to falsify the whole of production and perception[...]

The society whose modernization has reached the stage of the integrated spectacle is characterized by the combined effect of five principal features: incessant technological renewal; integration of state and economy; generalized secrecy, unanswerable lies; an eternal present.

In such a spectacular world as ours, it’s naive not to see that Resident Evil and The Messenger, are far from just movies. Call them promotional tie-ins, another part of the coordinated marketing campaign for the greater product being sold with regards to Iran and beyond. You could easily call that product Walmart World. It’s a world where all rival cultures have been hollowed out, emptied of their spirit, and commodified; a world where we can buy and sell whatever we like, so long as it is spiritless and false, including the shadow of ourselves; a world where you can do anything you like, except choose not to buy or choose to organize outside the approved market channels; a world where the only communities are commercial and industrial ones, serving the state and industry first, never individuals; a world where you can only work for the store, buy from the store (regardless of the currency or its future replacement) and sleep in the store, because you can never leave the store; a world where you’re always answerable to the managers. A place where your managers are always answerable to their managers–chairmen, experts, theorists, technicians, scientific and military advisors; and these folks in turn, answer to amorphous and unseen forces, abstract concepts and, ultimately the Spectacle itself, an egregore, a tulpa: a hungry ghost. You could just as easily call such a world The Cube. Or the Total Spectacle.

Just Because Things Look Bad, Doesn’t Mean It’s a Done Deal

That horror-show world isn’t here just yet.

Debord apparently disagreed. He saw the world of the Total Spectacle as already fully here and utterly victorious,with no chance of overturning, much less transforming, it. Perhaps that’s why he, like Hunter S. Thompson more recently, committed suicide. Unless, of course, suicide was committed on these two men, not by them.[2]

I do not see things so darkly. And it’s for the same reason that Freeman Fly can remain so upbeat. Just look at how much time and money the forces of the Spectacle must utilize when performing their lunatic conjurations, how much energy and effort they must devote to selling each and every one of us on their future Total Spectacle. That’s far from the kind of effort expended on something that’s already a done deal.

Part of that effort is selling you on seeing and thus entraining to the totalitarian warmongering and suggestions of apocalyptic inevitability found in Resident Evil and The Messenger. Refuse to see these movies and speak to your friends and neighbors about why they should, too. But don’t stop at refusing to consume the two films above. Refuse to consume the parallel war-marketeering being conducted by politicians and the press, no matter what party “brand” they represent. And refuse to consume the “market logic” that drives the Spectacle. And little, by little, see if you can learn to cease identifying with the logic, the signs and signifiers of these Spectacular Times. Because this stuff isn’t just entertainment. If any of it ever was, it sure ain’t anymore.

Two Lonely Footnote

[1] Perhaps that something is the Spectacle itself, which functions as if it is an autonomous entity. This is not much different from and is perhaps the same as what is referred to as an egregore in the Western occult tradition and as a tulpa in Tibetan Buddhism. Perhaps we should call it The Spectre-cal.
[2]The case for murder has been put forth with regards to Hunter S. Thompson and I’m surprised I’ve never seen it in relation to death of DeBord. Maybe that’s because after the failed revolutions of the late 60’s, the latter refused to participate in the spectacle, with one notable exception. Or maybe it’s just because DeBord always seemed dour, unlike the fun-loving, wild-living doctor of gonzo journalism.

There’s a very intriguing interview with director Alejandro Jodorowsky at the Fortean Times website that I recommend checking out.   In addition to being an acclaimed international director, Jodorowsky reads Tarot cards, performs something the article describes as “Psychomagikal Healings” and studied with the very ambiguous and shadowy (to me, anyway) mystic Oscar Ichazo, founder of the Arica Institute.  In the interview Jodorowsky makes some pretty provocative statements regarding cinema and the distinction between healing films or “initiation cinema” and mere entertainment propaganda.

Here’s one excerpt in particular that stuck out for me because it seems to dovetail with gnosticism and other esoteric perceptual filters:

In order to talk about initiation and healing cinema, we need to talk about the ‘industry’ of movies. The movie industry is a business for entertainment. And who commands this business… the tastes and demands of normal people, no? But normal people represent mediocrity, not art; their entertainment is vulgar and gives you nothing with which to change your life. It’s like a cigarette; you smoke tobacco, and it gives you nothing, unlike marijuana, which always gives you something. That is the industrial picture.

In order to think about the ‘initiatic’ picture, we need to break with industry. The goal of industry is to make a lot of money – this is the measure of a film’s art. Three hundred million dollars – it’s a masterwork! If it doesn’t make money, it’s an awful picture, a failure. But the initiatic picture doesn’t work with money, it works with soul, with spirituality. A lot of spirituality is a good picture, lack of spirituality is a bad picture. It’s different.

And then, what is it to heal somebody? In reality, the biggest illness is not to be what you are but to be what the other wants you to be – the family, the society, the culture. They tell you: “You need to be like this, with these morals, with these feelings, with this economy, with this political thing, with this religion.” And then, you go and sign a form that puts you in jail for all your life. The initiation is to give you freedom from all these forms, from the artificial world where you were started out in the belly of your mother.

Initiating – the art initiation – is to show you the hell, the prison, and how to be out [of it]. And to heal you is to give you the opportunity to be yourself and to have your own opinion. Hitchcock, in movies, is an ill person. Why? Because he has disguised himself as a genius of movies, but in reality, he’s making his movies in jail, because he’s saying: “That is a system that will make terror. This, the public will love. There, they will be anguished.” He’s directing your emotions; everything is done to hypnotise you in order to react in a certain way.

In a healing picture, they don’t say you need to react like that. You will react as you react!

Jodorowsky goes on to state flatly that Hollywood cinema is mind control and all U.S.  movies are propaganda of “empire power.”

Having not seen Jodorowsky’s work I feel at the moment unqualified to compare what he does in his work (or what I might think he does with his work) with that which he criticizes.  Then, there’s also the ambiguous pedigree of his  spiritual “master,” Oscar Ichazo, who had ties to Esalen Institute back in the 60’s. (I’d like to dig into a bit more at some point.) Nevertheless, there’s plenty of contemplation fodder in the Fortean Tiems interview worth grokking.

If any of you have seen Jodorowsky’s films or have research leads or personal knowledge of Oscar Ichazo’s Arica Institute, I’d love to hear your perspectives.

I’ve been taking an unofficial vacation from posting, but figured I’d break some of the site silence to continue my 10 Ways Experiment. To briefly refresh anyone’s memory out there or to initiate them into this little exercise, I’ll summarize it. Basically, I take things in my every day environment–events, overheard snippets of conversation, aspects of my surroundings, etc., and then come up with ten different ways of perceiving (interpreting) it. That’s usually how it goes, anyway. I’ve done this more often than I’ve published upon it, though not as often as I’d like. I’m not looking to rank the probabilities of any of the “1o Ways” when I do this, just allowing what Tim Boucher calls the AI to do its thing while I observe it.

That’s it for the summary of the method. Now, in this article, I’ll be conducting the “10 Ways Experiment” on David Icke. He came up recently when Kent Daniel Bentkowski interviewed me for the Kentroversy Tapes. Icke, for good and bad, is one of the first “rock-stars” of conspiracy/eso-research, a “platinum selling artist” with plenty of “hit” books and “sold out” concerts (okay, lectures). And to extend the metaphor, he’s either the Jimi Hendrix of this stuff, the Milli Vanilli or something worse, depending on whose talking about him.

Is David Icke a visionary or a crackpot messiah? A disinformation agent or just a showman? Or something in between? A lot of that seems to depend on what he “really” means and believes by saying the putative elite are shape-shifting lizard people. And regardless of what he means by lizard people, which may or may not be that old-time racist myths done up in sci-fi garb, can his myth be reinterpreted in other ways from which the individual can derive benefit? It’s been done before. For example, Father Allah and the Five Percenters re-interpreted the Nation of Islam’s talk of “the devil” from W.D. Fard’s Lost-Found Lessons as allegory for character flaws and “devilish” thoughts and behaviors, instead of the literalist read that the devil meant white folk.

Well, mayhaps that’s a question for later. But for now, I present to you the 10 Ways Experiment on What David Icke Means by Reptilians.

10 Ways (And Then Some) of Seeing David Icke and His Reptilians

1. David Icke means Shape-Shifting Reptilians from the fourth dimension, just like he says. And he really believes in them, as suggested by this excerpt from Jon Ronson’s excellent book, Them: Adventures with Extremists. (Although it leaves out the ambiguous ending where one Icke-o-phile is caught making an anti-Jewish remark, for which Icke is not present.)

2. David Icke means Shape-Shifting Reptilians, even though he doesn’t believe in them. He’s simply updated the idea of a metaphysical scapegoat from demons and evil spirits to trans-dimensional, humanoid reptiles. It’s a pretty great innovation, especially since these string-pullers are shape-shifters. If at some point, we see the down-fall of the Bushes, the Royal Family…and Boxcar Willie, but the world fails to become utopia, then Icke-o-philes can simply say that the shape-shifters shape-shifted into other powerful people and celebrities. Barack Obama, Fred Thompson and Ray “The Streak” Stevens, perhaps.

3. When David Icke says reptilians, he means the hundreds of irritating pet lizards he secretly keeps who, coincidentally, also happen to have names such as Bill Clinton, Baron Rothschild, Tony Blair and…Boxcar Willie.

4. David Icke means Geckos, specifically. And the reason Geiko Insurance recently replaced their gecko mascot with a caveman is because they realized they were giving too much away and didn’t want us getting wise to it.

5. Icke means trans-dimensional dinosaurs. The short-lived mid-90’s sitcom Dinosaurs was aimed at softening us up for the eventual invasion. Those weren’t Muppets.

Jim Henson was also a dinosaur.

6. David Icke means “Jews.” After all, there is definitely an other-worldly racial element to Icke’s lizard-scapegoats. Will Banyan does a good job of highlighting this early in his 2003 Paranoia Magazine review of Icke’s Alice in Wonderland and The World Trade Center Disaster:

…Icke tells us that behind the manufactured movie that is “life” there is a network of families that are distinct from the rest of [us] by virtue of having a “different DNA than the rest of the population (pp. 1, 2).” At the end of his book Icke reveals that this different DNA is a product of interbreeding between humans and “a non-human race” (p. 468). The consequence of this “corrupted DNA” is that these hybrids “do not have the same emotional responses as the rest of the earth people.”…

Besides not having any scientific evidence to support these contentions, it is interesting to note that Icke is effectively reviving Social Darwinism, but with a twist. Icke is actually telling us that anyone who is politicaly powerful or extremely rich is that way because they are not genetically pure members of the human race. Under Icke’s formula they are the hereditary unclean who are devoid of the natural inclinations of all pure humans to be good and kind and collectivist in intent and deed. They seek to dominate, to have more material things than the rest of us, and even to kill, torture, and rape us, because they cannot help it–it is written in their genes–and because of their corrupted DNA they are more easily possessed by “reptilian entities of the inter-space plane” (p. 469).

Certainly, Nazi philosophy had a large Social Darwinist component. Likewise, Hitler and his posse, from their early days as beer hall hooligans and street thugs all the way up to their eventual rise to political power, believed themselves to be the oppressed underdogs fighting against a less-than-human, yet incredibly “clever” race that operated a global conspiracy. Icke, too, paints us as helpless underdogs under the thumb of less-than-human, but very clever global conspirators. I’ll allow for distinction here. Hitler believed his perceived enemies were one hundred percent non-human. In contrast, Icke paints his enemies as at least half-human, with the added bonus that their maliciousness is really not their fault. It’s their genes, plus the trans-dimensional reptiles pulling their strings. But is that an improvement?

The above is not proof that Icke is some sort of crypto-Nazi. However, it makes one wonder, even if plenty of the folks he pegs as reptiles (or half-reptiles), like the nefarious Boxcar Willie or the Bushes are not ethnically or religiously Jewish at all.

Yet, there’s another thing to make one wonder and that’s the shady crypto-Nazi characters that have clustered around Icke. For instance, Icke received praise from Combat 18, the violent British neo-Nazi outfit once led by David Myatt, a sinister fellow who really is a shapeshifter (though not of the reptilian variety).

From Wikipedia:

Mark Honigsbaum has written about the apparent link between the more extreme New Age proponents and the far-right armed militia movement in the U.S. ^[4] Icke’s books contain multiple references to the “Illuminati,” which Icke and the militia movement believe constitutes the secret government they call the “New World Order”. In 1995, Honigsbaum wrote in the London Evening Standard that Combat 18, the British neo-Nazi group, was publicizing Icke’s speaking tour of the UK in its internal magazine, Putsch. The magazine wrote that Icke spoke about “‘the sheep’ and how the ‘illuminati’, uses them for its own ends”. ^[4] The story continued: “[Icke] began to talk about the big conspiracy by a group of bankers, media moguls etc. — always being clever enough not to mention what all these had in common.” ^[4]“

In Icke’s defense, having racists among your fan-base does not make one a racist. Nevertheless, citing the Protocols of Zion is going to attract a certain element, no matter how one re-interprets that infamous tract; and you’d be foolish to not realize that.

You’d also be foolish, in my view, to use the Protocols anyway when anyone who spends a little time at a decent university library or online can find and read the source it was cribbed from: Maurice Jolly’s A Dialogue in Hell between Machiavelli and Montesquieu. If you focus enough time, you can even find a book which contains The Protocols along with Jolly’s original satire against Napolean III and preceded by a full apology by Henry Ford for ever having promoted The Protocols or anti-Semitism. (I found such a book back in college and devoured it over two days. I want to say it’s Bernstein’s The History of a Lie, but it’s been quite some years and I can’t find full text online to corroborate. Sorry.)

The story, as recounted in a 1978 article by J.H. Hunting (reprinted here):

In August 1921 Mr. Phillip Graves, correspondent of the London “Times” in Constantinople came into the possession of a small book in a tattered condition. Such an insignificant incident may well have passed unnoticed and been swallowed into oblivion had not Mr. Graves recognized a sentence as being identical with one of the “Protocols”. Yet, THIS BOOK HAD THE NAME “JOLI” AS THE AUTHOR!

Mr. Graves compared the book written by Monsieur Joli with a copy of the “Protocols” and in it he found repeated word for word, paragraph for paragraph and page for page the text of the earlier book written by Joli. The only alteration was that instead of the word “Zion” Joli had written “France”, and instead of “We the Jews” the original book had “The Emperor”!

The book written by Joli was a satire directed against Napoleon III and was entitled “Dialogue in Hell between Machiavelli and Montesquieu”. IT HAD NOTHING WHATEVER TO DO WITH THE JEWS!

In three consecutive issues dated 16th, 17th and 18th August, 1921 the London “Times” printed long extracts from the “Protocols” side by side with Joli’s “Dialogue in Hell”. Thus was the infamous forgery exposed as ONE OF THE MOST INSOLENT FORGERIES OF ALL TIME.

Curiously, neither Icke nor the late William Cooper (who even included The Protocols as an appendix to Behold a Pale Horse) bother to acknowledge this information.

It makes one wonder.

Icke, for his part, has claimed Combat 18 is an ADL front(!), which would be rather curious given the former’s documented history of racist attacks and the involvement of neo-Nazi occultist David Myatt in Combat 18…

Not that such a strange thing couldn’t be true (indeed stranger things have occurred), but it would take quite a bit of evidence to convince this writer.

7. Icke believes the reptilian alien thing, but he’s being manipulated by shady intelligence agencies to put forward a crypto-fascist conspiracy myth, complete with Bullwer-Lytton’s hollow-earth dwelling demonic and angelic races, recast as trans-dimensional aliens (Vril, anyone?).

Icke first had his “break” from consensus reality via the revelations of a medium. You’ll find plenty of mediums involved in this sort of thing, and they have an odd track record– from the “ascended masters” of splinter theosophist groups, to the I AM movement, “The Nine” and so on– of advocating racist and totalitarian forms of government.

And Icke’s story finds an interesting complement in another “underground” figure who has garnered an equally polarizing fascination from the media and the public.  I tell you who that person is in a minute, but first a little background on Icke.

Icke’s story is that of a former soccer star, then sportscaster and Green Party activist who takes a huge New Age turn after becoming the beneficiary of other-worldly revelations about his importance as a future leader, healer and prophet. The tale has a family resemblence to the tale of Claude Vorilhon, a.k.a. Rael. Vorilhon was a automobile test driver and journalist who in 1973 had an encounter with something he believed to be an extraterrestrial. This alien revealed itself to be one of the “Elohim” spoken of in the Bible and told the future Rael that he was to be the next in a long line of messengers for the Space Brothers, joining the ranks of Jesus, Buddha, Moses and Muhammed. Rael, as prophet, started a religious movement advocating technocracy, better living through genetic manipulation and, umm, sensual meditation. Icke as prophet got publicly ridiculed into hiding. He then resurfaced as the avatar of conspiracy culture we know of today, warning us of our hidden reptilian controllers and their plans for world government.

The revealer of Icke’s life mission: a medium. The revealer of Rael’s: a Space Brother. Both types of sources have a very ambiguous track record for veracity, not to mention purity of intention.

Maybe Icke and Rael are two sides of the same Hegelian Dialectic?

8. David Icke is creating an ARG: you and the “reptilians” are the stars.

9. David Icke is a shameless New Age huckster. He took the 80’s television series V, which featured lizards disguised as humans invading and taking over the globe, and combined it with neo-Gnostic mythology a la The Matrix. Finally, he added a pinch of feel-good New Age theology and deliberately created a slam dunk “conspiracy entertainment” product that would appeal to a large audience of varying disaffected bourgeois niche markets.

The consumer is entertained. The producer is made wealthy. Both seem happy.

10. David Icke is a reptilian shape-shifter implicating shape-shifting rivals in power. One of the oldest tricks in the book.

And here are two to grow on:

11. David Icke is a knowing disinformation agent of some agency or another, muddying the waters by adding palpable bullshit in with actual facts. His activities do several things. First, they give sanction to the mainstream media to ignore the genuine information. It also supplies them with the perfect straw-man version of a conspiracy researcher in the person of Icke.  With Icke’s  more outlandish-sounding theoires, it’s that much easier to misrepresent, and debunk all investigative reporting into para-political and esoteric topics without having to look at individual cases and individual researchers.  All you have to do is say, “They’re all like Icke.”

Icke’s activities also give a majority of people the permission, via media sanction, to likewise mechanically dismiss anyone discussing these topics without really having to listen or think. These people can simply add a pre-conditioned witty remark about “reptilians” to the usual “tinfoil hat” jokes and be done with it.

What a great time-saving device!

For another group of people, Icke’s more dubious claims serve to give them another, more edgy line of consumerist product to consume. They can buy the books, watch the videos and remain on their couches. At the same time, they get an ego-boost from getting to fancy themselves as holding edgier, cooler and more rebellious thoughts than the rest of their friends. Take those edgy thoughts, coupled with the hippest jeans, and the trendiest diets, and this conspiracy-consumer is ready to impress all the squares!

For a much smaller group of people, the True Believers, the more outlandish Icke’s statements and activities, the more stridently they must self-identify with him as a leader of a movement. Given this dynamic, you have the potential makings of yet another personality cult to siphon off human energy, individual self-direction, productive time and free thought.

And all of the above-mentioned groups stay right where they are, trapped within the Spectacle.

12. David Icke is a family man, of British extraction, who has been through the looking-glass and is still attempting to make sense of it all.

I’d feel remiss in ending this thought-experiment on Icke without mentioning the reptilian-centric disinfo-tainment film The Brandon Corey Story. Featuring David Icke, it originally was marketed as a documentary, complete with “new” footage of a ritual at Bohemian Grove, and the “on-camera” shape-shifting of Dick Cheney into a lizard(!). This, of course, was all bogus and the filmmakers, a company ironically called Truthseeker TV, had to issue a clarification statement and apology.

Icke’s participation in this film could lead us to several different reads about him and his beliefs or non-beliefs about reptilians. One possibility is that while believing in the existence of shape-shifting reptilian overlords, Icke feels that getting that knowledge out by any means necessary is valid, even if it’s in the form of a fantasy movie. If Icke, despite protests, was aware of how the movie would be marketed, then we have another possible “way” of seeing Icke:

13. A hypocrite who is willing to dishonestly use the same cheap manipulation tactics as the so-called powers that be, shape-shifters or not, to alter our perceptions.

I doubt anything I write can match what Downard did with a single essay—I simply don’t burrow far enough. I won’t feel surprised if this retreads connections made by others, including Downard, but I will set them down anyway, in the wake of the death of actor-activist Woody Harrelson’s father, Charles—a convicted hit-man with strange connections to the JFK assassination.

Burrow in a different reality tunnel for the moment; you can return to your habitual one as soon as you’re done reading.

Spectacular Realities: The Shadow of Woody’s Father

Woody Harrelson was born in Midland, Texas: one-time stomping ground of our very own Darth Vader (W.) and the Emperor (George H.W. Bush). Woody grew up, however, in Lebanon, Ohio, which connects us to the Lebanese-American mobster Jimmy Chagra, who hired Woody’s father, Charles, to murder federal judge John H. Wood in El Paso, Texas back in 1979. During the defense and throughout his incarceration, Charles claimed to have been in Dallas on the day of the shooting.

That takes us to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which took place in Dallas. When arrested for the Wood killing, Charles Harrelson confessed to both the murders of the federal judge and JFK. Woody starred in Oliver Stone’s film Natural Born Killers, playing a serial murderer, which in some sense, his father may have been (for hire, anyway). And most people know that the director of Natural Born Killers was Oliver Stone, the controversial director of JFK.

Stone’s conspiracy movie shows us the infamous three tramps photographed on the day of the assissination. (They’ve long since been “officially” identified, though that official story, like so many others, is open to plenty of doubt). One theory, however, vouched for by a now-deceased CIA-operative named Chauncey Holt, identified Charles Harrelson as one of the tramps. Harrelson claimed to have been elsewhere at the time—maybe he was in El Paso?

Woody Harrelson also starred in the Milos Foreman film The People vs. Larry Flynt, about the publisher of Hustler. A hustler is a common term used for a con man and, before his first conviction for a contract killing in 1968, Woody’s father was well-known as a hustler himself, a highly skilled card shark. Woody played a hustler of another kind, in the movie Kingpin. “Kingpin” is a term often used for crime-bosses; and Charles Harrelson had relationships with a few, including the aforementioned Jimmy Chagra and also Santos Traficante, who gets linked, along with Harrelson, to…the JFK assassination in this article.

Back to Larry Flynt.

Larry Flynt was the victim of an attempted assassination by a sniper outside of a Georgia courtroom in 1978, leaving him wheel-chair bound for life. (Recall that Charles Harrelson was convicted of successfully sniping a judge.) Although no official suspect has ever been charged, the white supremacist serial-killer Joseph Paul Franklin, who has been sentenced to death, claimed responsibility for the shooting. Franklin, like the elder Harrelson, was an excellent marksmen, killing most of his victims from over 100 ft. away. Woody, as stated earlier, played a serial killer, Mickey Knox, who murders a Native American man in Natural Born Killers.

Larry Flynt, for a time, was deeply obsessed with the JFK assassination and political conspiracies. During the 70’s, Hustler published exposes on the assassinations of not only JFK, but also RFK, MLK and Malcolm X, stories that mainstream media were loathe to touch at the time. At one point, Flynt even offered a $1 million dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the JFK assassination. Flynt also briefly published a magazine in the early 80’s called The Rebel, which published this article by legendary researcher Mae Brussels regarding a Nazi-connection to the JFK assassination.

Nazi connections bring us to Prescott Bush’s business dealings with Nazi front-companies during WWII. It also brings us to his son, George, who had some questionable Nazi-connected campaign workers in key places within his 1988 presidential campaign. George H.W. also purportedly used his oil company, Zapata Offshore, as cover for work as a CIA agent in the early 60’s. Said work may have included handling anti-Castro Cubans training for Operation Mongoose, who later, along with Bush himself, had curious ties to Dallas on November 22, 1963. And the original name of Operation Mongoose has been reported as Operation Zapata. Another man with possible Operation Mongoose ties was…Charles Harrelson, who lived in Midland, Texas during the early 1960’s.

George H. W. Bush founded his oil company in Midland, Texas in the late 50’s. And Midland, Texas is the birthplace of Woody Harrelson.

So now we’ve come full circle.

One last connection: Woody Harrelson got his break playing a bartender on the sitcom Cheers. His father allegedly got an early break working at a bar…owned by Jack Ruby, the killer of alleged JFK lone-gunman Lee Harvey Oswald.

Just Scratching the Surface

I’m no substitute for the late Downard, as I’ve mentioned. In addition to the connections I’ve made here, he certainly would have gone much further—connecting the meanings of place names and surnames to the symbolism of religion, mysticism, and without doubt, secret societies.

But perhaps, I’ll return to this much later. In the meantime, maybe someone like Freeman will pick up where I’ve left off.

DENVER Mar 21, 2007 (AP)— Actor Woody Harrelson’s father, Charles Harrelson, died in the Supermax federal prison where he was serving two life sentences for the murder of a federal judge, officials said Wednesday.

On March 15th, 2007, Charles Voyde Harrelson, the father of activist-actor Woody Harrelson, and the convicted contract-killer of federal judge John Wood in 1979, died of apparent heart failure in a Supermax prison in Denver. As Peter Levenda, author of Unholy Alliance and the three-volume Sinister Forces, points out, it took the press until March 21, 2007 to report on it–which might mean either that the press sat on the story or that prison officials took a rather bureaucratic pace in informing the media of the convict’s death. The timing is synchronous, as Levenda points out, because in the same week, the son of E. Howard Hunt, the Watergate plumber and CIA agent, told the press that, close to death, his father had admitted that there had been a conspiracy to assassinate John F. Kennedy, orchestrated by “rogue” elements within the CIA.

Why should the latter fact correlate with Charles Harrelson’s death? You certainly wouldn’t know if you read the AP story about his demise. And if you checked the ABC news website you might have missed it, since, tellingly, the story is located in the “ABC News Entertainment” (a bit of redundancy there?) archives and the relevant connection between Woody’s dad and E. Howard Hunt gets only a passing mention–one sentence in the sixth paragraph:

He [Harrelson] claimed he had been involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and some reports assert the actor’s father was one of the tramps photographed on the “grassy knoll.” [There's an innacuracy in the ABC story here. The famous "tramps" were not photographed on the "grassy knoll." They were photographed being accompanied--oddly, given the day--sans handcuffs, by police officers through Dealey Plaza to the sheriff's office.]

E. Howard Hunt has also been alleged over the years to have been one of the “tramps” arrested shortly after JFK’s assassination.

E. Howard Hunt–Maybe a Tramp, Maybe an Insider

From the recent Rolling Stone article, wherein the ailing Hunt tells his son, Saint John, of his involvement in the JFK assassination:

One evening in Eureka, over a barbecue meal, St. John explains how he first came to suspect that his father might somehow be involved in the Kennedy assassination. “Around 1975, I was in a phone booth in Maryland somewhere, when I saw a poster on a telephone pole about who killed JFK, and it had a picture of the three tramps. I saw that picture and I fucking — like a cartoon character, my jaw dropped, my eyes popped out of my head, and smoke came out of my ears. It looks like my dad. There’s nobody that has all those same facial features. People say it’s not him. He’s said it’s not him. But I’m his son, and I’ve got a gut feeling.”

In St. John’s narrative, his father goes on to scribble a diagram on a notepad, implicating a line of people starting: LBJ–Cord Meyer–Bill Harvey–David Morales –”French Gunman Grassy Knoll.” There’s something quite symbolic about the old spook revealing such things to his firstborn son. Afterall, it is another St. John who is credited with writing The Book of Revelations.

Officially, the three tramps have been identified, per debunkers and the FBI (so take that whatever way your reality tunnel dictates), as Harold Doyle, John Forrester Gedney, and Gus W. Abrams and the site of Prof. John McAdams even presents links to their arrest records on Nov. 22, 1963, plus an A Current Affair (the early 90’s tabloid-news show) report that broke the story in the wake of Oliver Stone’s JFK movie, which given the lack of records for so long is a bit coincidental. Don’t call me crazy yet, o’ great debunker McAdams!–I said coincidental. But feel free to read into that:

Despite the arrest records and Doyle’s interview with A Current Affair, McAdam’s site also documents the following, from Volume 6 of the House Select Committee on Assassinations:

(660) Immediately after the assassination, law enforcement officers conducted a search of the area behind the grassy knoll in which several railroad boxcars were situated. As a result of this search, approximately six to eight persons who appeared to be derelicts were taken either to the nearby Dallas County Sheriff’s office, or to the Dallas Police Department for questioning. All were released without being booked, fingerprinted or photographed. (222) Among these “derelicts” were three men who, according to the arresting officers, had been found in a boxcar approximately one-half mile south of the assassination scene. (223) As the police led the three derelicts through Dealey Plaza to the sheriff’s office, they were photographed by several press photographers. (224)

“Six to eight” men arrested, but the police did not photograph, fingerprint or book any of them (though maybe that’s wrong, since Doyle recalls being fingerprinted–or should we suspect him of fabrication, Prof. McAdams?). Meanwhile, the press photos showing three of these six to eight men (you’d think the records would be a bit more precise than ballpark figures) were not published until 1974 and were first widely seen when Newsweek printed them in 1975. Doyle, Gedney and Abrams might have been tramps on that day, but so were three to five other guys, if there’s anything to the HSCA report. So who’re in the photos? And does it tell us anything at all?

Maybe.

At the time of the HSCA, quite a few folks were saying that one of those suspicious hoboes was none other than Hunt and another future Watergate plumber, Frank Sturgis. In addition to these two, “three other individuals, Thomas Vallee, Fred Lee Chrisman, and Daniel Carswell” were also suspected of being one of the tramps. But based upon the analysis of forensic anthropologists, the HSCA concluded that none of these men–not even Hunt– appear in the photos, despite apparent physical similarities.

But then there’s the case for Chauncey Holt, Charles Rogers, and…Charles Harrelson, made by Wim Dankbaar, a European JFK reseracher. Part of his identifications are based on analysis of forensic artist Lois Gibson, who’s video can be seen below:

Now, I’m no expert or trained eye, but when Gibson says the first tramp “definitely could be” Charles Rogers, that sounds a bit like the HSCA’s “six to eight” tramps. To my untrained eye, only two of her photos of Rogers seem to bear any resemblance to the tramp that Doyle claimed to be. In fact, Doyle does look more like the man in the “tramp” photos than Charles Rogers. However, I do agree that certain features of Doyle’s face–particularly the shape of his head and chin–do not match the man in the “tramp”photos at all.

Maybe Doyle had some work done?

On the other hand, the resemblance between photos of the tall tramp and Charles Harrelson, and the old tramp and Chauncey Holt appear much more convincing. Then again, I’m no forensic artist. So we have a question of experts. What stock one should put in the testimony of even the best forensic artist, versus that of unidentified forensic anthropologists and unidentified members of the FBI in the HSCA report, versus reporters for A Current Affair, I don’t know.

And what stock to put in CIA-man Chauncey Holt? (Try to avoid being swayed by the annoyingly dramatic music in this video and view it “objectively”–I dare you):

Holt, now dead, identified himself, Rogers and Harrelson as the three tramps, though Harrelson denied it. Interestingly enough, when Dallas morning news reporter Chuck Cook showed the “three tramps” photos to Harrelson’s wife, Jo Ann, she found the similarities between the “tall tramp” and her husband to be amazing.

And I suspect she probably got the same gut feeling that Saint John Hunt felt.

Cook, by the way, had been interviewing Harrelson about the Judge Wood case. (See the reserach at this link .) When arrested, the police had just concluded a standoff with Harrelson who, holding a .44 to his head and high on cocaine, admitted to not only killing Judge Wood but also JFK.

Was there something to that confession or do we just assume it’s the kind of thing someone high on cocaine, in the middle of a police standoff, would say? That’s exactly what another site postulates, saying that Harrelson’s JFK confession may have been his attempt at invalidating his admission-of-guilt in the Wood’s sniping, the first assassination of a federal judge in over a hundred years. When you’re high on cocaine and you realize you’ve just confessed to a political assassination, you might as well say you shot the president and pray they think you’re a crazy man who’s lying about both crimes.

Maybe.

Harrelson later denied shooting either Wood or Kennedy. However, while his claim of innocence with regards to the Wood case never wavered (he even convinced Woody), the same cannot be said about his JFK story. Reporter Cook (quoted in the article here; which sources Jim Marr’s excellent, if flawed, Crossfire) says that:

…[When he] interviewed Harrelson on the judge Wood case and subsequently asked him about his claims of murdering the President, …Harrelson ‘got this sly little grin on his face; Harrelson is very intelligent and has a way of not answering when it suits him. ‘

I wonder if that sly grin was anything like the one on the face of the tall man in the three tramps photo who Chauncey Holt fingered as Harrelson. And I wonder if that same tall man’s sly grin is one reason Jo Ann Harrelson found his resemblance to her husband so amazing.

At a subsequent interview, Cook states that Harrelson told him:

“Listen, if and when I get out of here (prison) and feel free to talk, I will have something that will be the biggest story you ever had…November 22, 1963. You remember that!”

One argument is that Harrelson simply used the JFK claim to garner a greater fee from potential clients before the hit on Judge Wood and that after his conviction, the story became his cynical, albeit ineffective, ploy to negotiate a reduced prison sentence.

Maybe.

Then again, imagine that you are serving two life sentences for the contract killing of a federal judge . Furthermore, imagine that you had previously served five years of a fifteen year sentence for another contract killing (businessman Sam Degalia) back in 1968. How much time off for good behavior might you expect for admitting involvement and/or direct guilt in the assassination of the president of the United States? And given your track record, why would you expect anyone to believe you?

That in itself is sort of a Catch-22, isn’t it. The very things that might make you a credible source of information in the greatest crime of the last century–a known history as a contract killer, and connections to underworld and intelligence operatives (don’t worry, we’re getting to that), also makes you utterly discreditable. Sounds kind of like a spook’s dilemma.

I bet E. Howard Hunt would have known a thing or two about that.

Killers and Spooks

Being a mob-connected contract killer isn’t all that different than being an intelligence operative. Both contract killers and spies have to make contacts with shady characters in order to perform their jobs and/or solicit business; they both have to, in turn, be shady characters themselves. Both have to get their hands dirty for their clients/employers. Both types of professionals also need to develop a knack for lies and subterfuge–creating plausible deniability or at least extreme uncertainty–regarding themselves and those they serve. And in the end, the contract killer and the spy can end up quite expendable and discreditable compared to those who provide the money in their bank accounts. And, in many cases, the difference between a contract-killer and an operative grows blurry and fades away: a distinction that is no distinction.

Look, we know hired killers/intelligence operatives know things, things hidden from us. We also know they lie. Sometimes they lie about the things they know. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they only want you to think they’re lying about the things they know. And sometimes they themselves are lied to by their paymasters. The seemingly insurmountable task for anyone looking into this stuff thus becomes how to separate the perceptual wheat from the chaff.

Charles Harrelson: As Spooky as Hunt?

Once you spend a few days researching possible JFK conspirators, you repeatedly come across little things that plunge you into the dark seas of uncertainty. (I can only imagine how the folks who’ve engaged in this for decades feel.) Intuition tells you something’s there, but you don’t always know what. That’s definitely the case when you investigate Charles Harrelson’s connections.

Take, for example, Percy Foreman, the attorney who represented James Earl Ray, Jack Ruby and then, during the Woods murder trial, Charles Harrelson. Or there’s the business card Harrelson had on him when arrested for the Wood’s hit–that of Russell D. Mathews, an associate of Jack Ruby. Matthews, according to Michael T. Griffith, citing the HSCA, had reputed mob ties in Dallas; and according to one source, one of those ties was to Dallas mobster Joseph Campisini, who not only dined with Jack Ruby the night before Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald, but also went on to testify for Harrelson at his trial. Then there’s the matter of the man who purportedly hired Harrelson to kill Judge Wood, Joe Chagra, a known mobster himself. At trial, he stated that the claims of involvement with the JFK assassination partially led him to hire Harrelson for the Wood’s hit.

But we’re just dipping toes in the murk. It gets more interesting.

There’s this special report filed in the Midland Reporter-Examiner by historian W. Bear Mills on March 24th with the provocative headline:

Former Midlander convicted of two murders for hire dies in prison

That’s right. The headline is referring to Charles Harrelson:

Harrelson lived in Midland from 1961, the year his son, actor Woody Harrelson, was born, through 1967. City directories report Harrelson resided on Crestview, two blocks from Wall Street, and worked as a denture repairman at Tri-State Dental Supply.

Harrelson’s residence in Midland, Texas during that period should ring some alarms for those who recall the Bush family ties to the town. In fact, Midland was the site where George H.W. Bush, along with business partners John Overby, Hugh and Bill Liedke and once and future CIA employee Thomas J. Devine, founded Zapata Oil in 1953. During the time Harrelson lived in Midland, Bush was in Houston. There are more strange connections between the two men, however.

Continuing with Mills’ piece in the Midland Reporter-Examiner:

However, numerous federal and private investigations indicate Harrelson spent a great deal of that time on the road, working to secure a job as a gun for hire. His first would-be employer was the U.S. government, which was seeking mercenaries for the $13 million paramilitary operation known as Operation Mongoose that unsuccessfully attempted to overthrow Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Arrest records, hotel receipts and employment applications indicate Harrelson was in California and Florida on the same dates many of the Operation Mongoose meetings were conducted by U.S. operatives. The Operation Mongoose data, much of which is stored in the National Archives and was made public in 1997, tracks events that led up to the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in April 1961.

Harrelson was passed over as a candidate to execute Castro. However, he hinted to at least two reporters he was involved in another famous killing: the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

“Six to Eight” Degrees of George Bush, Sr.: The Strange Attractor

George H. W. Bush also has links to both the Bay of Pigs and the JFK murder.

The story first broke in an article written by Joseph McBride in the July 16-23, 1988 issue of The Nation. Buried among “98,755 pages of FBI documents ” released between 1977-1978 due to Freedom of Information Act requests, McBride found a memo sent by J. Edgar Hoover to the State Department the week after the Kennedy assassination that mentions Bush:

[It] is subject headed “Assassination of John F. Kennedy November 22, 1963.” In it, Hoover reports that the bureau had briefed “Mr. George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency” shortly after the assassination on the reaction of Cuban exiles in Miami. A source with close connections to the intelligence community confirms that Bush started working for the agency in 1960 or 1961, using his oil business as a cover for clandestine activities.

You can find the text of Hoover’s memo, which also indicates that Bush and a “Captain William Edwards of the Defense Intelligence Agency” were briefed the day after JFK’s death, in Webster Tarpley and Anton Chaitkin’s Unauthorized Biography of George Bush online.

(And you can find the affidavit of the other George Bush, a low-level CIA researcher, who the former U.S. president’s spokesperson initially tried to link to Hoover’s memo here.)

Prepare to get even dizzier. Because on the day of JFK’s assassination, G.H.W. made a phone call, ostensibly from Tyler, Texas, telling FBI agent Graham Kitchel of hearing talk in the last several weeks about one “James Parrott” plotting to kill Kennedy when he visited Houston. But that’s not all. There is also a suspected photo of Bush in Dallas, right in front of the Texas Bookstore Depository, on November 22, 1963.

As for the Bay of Pigs, a suggestive connection to Bush from the Tarpley and Chaitkin’s book:

Hints of the covert presence of George Bush are scattered here and there around the Bay of Pigs invasion. According to some accounts, the code name for the Bay of Pigs was Operation Pluto. 4 But Bay of Pigs veteran Howard Hunt scornfully denies that this was the code name used by JM/WAVE personnel; Hunt writes: “So perhaps the Pentagon referred to the Brigade invasion as PLUTO. CIA did not.” 5 But Hunt does not tell us what the CIA code name was, and the contents of Hunt’s Watergate era White House safe, which might have told us the answer, were of course “deep-sixed” by FBI Director Patrick Gray. One code name frequently used by CIA Miami Station personnel appears to have been “Don Eduardo,” roughly the Spanish equivalent of “Mr. Edward” or perhaps “Mr. Ed.” 6 According to reliable sources and published accounts, the CIA code name for the Bay of Pigs invasion was Operation Zapata, and the plan was so referred to by Richard Bissell of the CIA, one of the plan’s promoters, in a briefing to President Kennedy in the Cabinet Room on March 29, 1961. 7 Does Operation Zapata have anything to do with Zapata Offshore?

So we now have links to the Bay of Pigs and JFK assassination for Charles Harrelson, E. Howard Hunt and George H. W. Bush. And we also have photos taken in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963 that may or may not be of those same men. If there’s anything to W. Bear Mill’s Midland article, Harrelson’s Kennedy assassination cocaine-confession sounds more and more believable. Though–and maybe it’s just sleep deprivation talking–the name “W. Bear Mills” sounds increasingly like some sort of symbolic pen-name the more I look at it…

So where does that leave us? Given all we’ve learned since then about MK Ultra, Operation FUBELT- which operation led to the CIA-backed coup that toppled Salvador Allende and installed the fascist dictatorship of Pinochet (for those who don’t know, that was the original 9/11–9/11/1973), the Church Committee, revelations about Project Northwoods and on and on and on–I feel it’s either incredibly naive, cowardly or self-serving for anyone in this day to advocate the “lone nut” theory about the JFK murder or to disbelieve involvement by some players within the intelligence community. Even the House Select Committee on Assassinations, contrary to the Warren Commission, acknowledged a probable conspiracy. However, that the CIA liasson to the HSCA, George Joannides, participated in the same anti-Castro CIA front group, DRE, as Oswald in the month’s leading up to the JFK murder–a fact not known to HSCA at the time–may have ensured that no suspected conspirators would be indentified in the “probable conspiracy.”

Like I said earlier, it all gets quite murky down here in the depths. Nevertheless, it seems a safe assumption to me that attempting to pin anything on anyone based soley on old photos of so-called “tramps” could be a distraction. Photos can lie. But then, so too, can contract-killers and spooks, ex-Presidents included. And, as sage thinkers like Wittgenstein and Robert Anton Wilson have pointed out, the rest of us can lie, sometimes even unbeknownst to ourselves, due to the maps of “reality” in our heads. That includes those who perceive through the accepted, mainstream filters, the debunkers, and also their perceptual- rivals in conspiracy research camps. We don’t live in an “objective” world, not insofar as all but the enlightened sages perceive it (and they perceive it as poetry–the last thing most of us want to take as evidence of anything).

Do I really believe that?

Maybe.

But I do believe this for sure: Saint John Hunt and Woody Harrelson have a lot to talk about–and so do we.

After writing about the demise of Anna Nicole Smith and what I saw as an enactment of distorted goddess worship and pop-culture ritual sacrifice, and then connecting the dots when Britney shaved her head and underwent the media-balyhooed temporary insanity a week later, my site received a referral from another I’d not heard of before—thefreemanperspective.blogspot.com. Repaying the visit, I found a parapolitical lense that resonated with me, if not in all the particulars, then certainly in its poetics. The writer, Freeman, struck me as having not only a depth of knowledge of symbolism to rival the late James Shelby Downard, but also a sense of peace about him that Downard, in my view, seemed to have exchanged for the stereotypical paranoia and prejudice of the occult/conspiracy researcher. Suffice to say, Freeman’s Perspective felt like something fresh and unique while hearkening to some of the best of the departed researchers. And while some of the conclusions he draws from his symbolic readings aren’t ones I share, I respect his emphasis on creative play, love and the power of synchronicity. Along with Jeff Wells’, whose method and style and even conclusions widely diverge from his, Freeman’s approach to the strangeness of life and the secrets and conspiracies behind our Spectacular Times remains one of the more inspiring and promising to me. I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to conduct an electronic interview with him.

Without further prelude, here’s the first part of my interview with Freeman:

Tell us a little about yourself.

I was born in the middle of the “Summer of Love.” I was a shy boy most of my life. I didn’t speak to classmates until around the sixth grade. I was an intelligent child and was picked on because of this. I never understood why others had such trouble with their school work. I hardly brought a book home. Strangely, authority figures, like my high school principal, also picked on me.
I have always had a great sense of compassion. When asked to leave my mark on the high school sidewalk, I simply put, “I love.” I had intended to put what I love but that seemed sufficient. I smiled and dotted a period.
My life has been an adventure from the beginning. I wanted to be a spaceman as a child and I don’t mean an astronaut. I wanted to just keep going. My life has been like that. My mother allowed me to be free.
My adventures took flight in my mind, as well. I studied UFO abductions and ancient astronauts from the time I could read (After Encyclopedia Brown and Nancy Drew, of course) I remember studying ciphers and wanting to be Houdini so bad, that I tied myself up, and rolled into the pool for my great escape trick. Thank God, I did escape. I was all alone and I had tied the knots well. It wasn’t until I thumped on the bottom of the pool, that I realized what I had done.

Suffice it to say, that I did not fear to tread the earth. I loved life and it loved me back. I guess my family was really a supporting role in this movie, my life. My stories begin with phrases like, the day I met the Bride of Christ or, after the large craft left. It’s funny, I usually see a breaking point in my friends’ eyes as I relate a story that is simply too unbelievable for them. Everyone has a different one, but now I recognize the sidewise glance. One friend refused to believe that a bat had got caught in my hair. He said, “no, that’s just a wives tale.” As I dug deeper into the Anna Nicole, Britney and mind control story, I found that my mother was Esther in the Eastern Star and had met Walt Disney. My new friend gave me that sidewise look as I relayed my findings. I was born into this mentality.

When I was born, my father was building nukes for Martin Marietta. I didn’t find out that my father was a Freemason until I was at my first college. I had a friend, the same that wouldn’t, couldn’t, believe in the bat, but did believe about the large flying craft because a mutual friend was involved; such a strange life. Anyway, this friend showed me a picture of a Masonic compass and square and I said, “I recognize that.”

He said, “Why?” and I remembered that I would wear my father’s Masonic cuff-links as insignia when we played Battlestar Galactica as children. How truly synchronistic my life is. I learned to look at life this way, as a message or a voice; a way of communication between me and my guardian angel. You see, Battlestar Galactica is based on the Mormon extraterrestrial origins of man and the Mormons were started by a Freemason.

So, no, I was well into my conspiratorial thoughts before I knew of my father’s involvement. I already knew that my dad chased flying saucers and left me with that enigmatic, “yeah, flying saucers are real.” I started to question my dad about things that I read and he always said, “that’s poppycock”. He never told me a thing.
This is the thing that I find most intriguing. This is my genetic memory. Yeah, I played with a Titan missile model as a child because dad built nukes, but I was never directed by anything but life, to look at the things that intrigued me. It just happens that my life follows my dream. I actually took off on the road with a black and white spotted dog at my ankle while juggling. There is something to esoterica. That is the image on the Fool card in the Tarot, exactly.
My family made my findings more real. My mother was married to the Grand Potentate of German Freemasonry before she met my dad. Actually, it was this man that raised my father to the 32nd degree. He wasn’t 33rd. He was, however, the Worshipful Master of the lodge. This is like being king of the lodge. He ran the rituals. He said he liked the York Rite of Freemasonry better than the Scottish Rite. In the York Rite there are 3 degrees and as he would say, “not so much gobbly-gook.” He was referring to the things said during the rituals.
I think having a father involved with masonry gave me a balanced view of the men in Freemasonry. He was no longer a mason when I was born. You see, a worshipful master cannot marry another worshipful master’s wife even if she is divorced. My father left the masons because he loved my mom. Mom, of course, was Eastern Star and held the rank of Esther, which is a place on the ritual star. My grand-mother was a renowned healer that practiced witchcraft in the moonlight. My mother never tried it. My grandfather was chased to the hills for being opposed to the Nazis. I guess it runs in the family.

In an essay about James Shelby Downard, Adam Parfrey says that he believes the way Downard perceived reality–through the connections between the meanings of names of places and people and through symbolism–was probably very close to the way most people in earlier times perceived reality/realities; and I see a bit of that in your own work. Could you tell us a bit about your “perspective” and the method behind it?

This is how my perspective was crafted. The most unbelievable things are a reality to me. I have witnessed a large flying rectangle over Daytona Beach. I have met the “Bride of Christ” whom carries the Holy Grail. It is a bowl made of a meteorite. She believes I could be “Enoch” and that the “Grays” are subterranean. I found the fountain of youth, it didn’t work but, I am still young for my age. I ‘ve seen green fire balls move slowly across the sky and was heading to a million dollar home in a missile silo as a rocket burned in the atmosphere for a mile, moving from horizon to horizon. Once, near a submarine base, I saw night turn to day. I didn’t mention that dad was on the submarine Killer 1 with Jimmy Carter. I have met a Bilderberger and we talked about the planned end of the world, how to make a billion, and his place in the DUMB (Deep Underground Military Base). He told me he is now working with Shemyaza and the Pleiadians. We live in a time when you can say, “I saw the ambassador of Yahweh (RAEL) speaking before Congress about cloning humans.” It is all a matter of belief.

My belief in what I perceive has proven itself time and again. I predicted W’s uprising because I had been presented with the meaning of 66 in kabbalism and realized this transliterated to VV. How strange is it then, that 66 is the number of the fallen angels and they were led by Shemyaza? Now, I never know if I’m right. One day they may take me, like Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory, and I won’t know which conspiracy I had gotten right. I did tell a large party that there would be a “terrorist” attack on September 11th and not to panic, it is all for your reaction. I had a dozen people at my door that fateful day. I didn’t have a television, so I didn’t know anything had happened. I had always told them that I would head for Nebraska when the proverbial fan got hit and when W headed straight that way, they were even more curious of what I know.
I know the universe is alive and speaking directly to us. It shows love and compassion and has dreamed up a life for me that I could never have designed. This love has such a sense of humor. It was this love that put a Bush, a Dick, and a Colin in front of us. Remember that they are phallus worshippers and the joke gets funnier. It is this love that sends me an angel when I need a caring hand. The magical, the mystical, and the miraculous are all that I need. This knowledge freed me from the Illuminati matrix and gives me hope.

I started to articulate a certain view I have in several essays on my site (regarding Anna Nicole Smith & Britney Spears) that those old public cultic rituals of ancient cultures that you can read about in James Frazer’s The Golden Bough (human sacrifice and the like) are still being enacted for and consumed by a public that is controlled by the same or similar rituals. And it seems you’ve tapped into this view and actually gone into quite a bit more depth on this.
You’ve mentioned the ritual of Madonna kissing Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera at the MTV video awards a few years ago. What are some other public rituals in recent years and what do you see as their meanings and perceived intents?

In 1999, when some were saying there might be a computer meltdown, I was saying, “but, they’re capping the Great Pyramid with gold!” I outline the ritual of Horus in my first film, Corporate Logos. It has been shown that the Gregorian calendar was most likely set up to bring this celebration on this date. You see, this has always been extraterrestrial. By that I mean that the knowledge sought is extraterrestrial; such as the pyramid being aligned to Sirius. When England burned their “River of Fire” in the Y2K celebration, it was at the speed of the sun. America’s Y2K celebration made it appear as if the sun rose in the west and Clinton announced, “it is a rising sun.” This is a symbol of Horus. I had to chuckle when they showed the Bee Gee’s playing in Sunrise Florida. This is symbolism that is very similar to the Babylonian celebrations described by Zecharia Sitchen for the arrival of Anu; the great Sumerian god and the Nephilim; the fallen ones. It was right after this that we attacked the land of Anu (Iraq/Iran) with the Shock and Awe which for a kabbalist that thinks in Hebrew, is a play on Shekinah, which is the Hebrew form of the goddess or Holy Spirit. It is no coincidence that Saddam Hussein at that time was claiming to be Nebuchadnezzar reincarnated. I grew up in Orlando which was designated the first point of light in HW’s “Thousand Points of Light” scheme. What this really meant was that Orlando was the first police state. We had cameras on the streets and hooded thugs long before the rest of the nation. So, to announce Orlando’s status they blew up City Hall. It was filmed for Lethal Weapon 3; Mel Gibson again. They erected a new neo-gothic building and a large phallus out in front of it. The public didn’t understand. They had paid a lot of money for this asparagus-looking thing in front of City Hall, and they weren’t happy about it. If one looks closer, there is a gushing vagina right behind the large phallus. This is who our”leaders” are. If you go down to your local court house and check the cornerstone, you will find it dated to the Anno Lucis calendar. It’s the year 6007 to your president.
When people start asking who designed the American flag they worshipped every morning as a child, they will start to find these answers.

Have you gotten to see the movie 300 yet? I’m of the mind that this movie signals some sort of magic working in terms of changing how Americans view themselves and the role they are to play in the dark future, which might include a war in Iran as part of enacting, in a very controlled way, certain interpretations of the Apocalypse. When I went to see the movie, I got that gut sense even before the actual movie started, just based on the promos they were running before the movie–a “First Look” (an interesting title, since it’s also a command) of a Navy recruitment ad. That was followed by the Navy commercial itself (the Greeks defeated Persia via the aid of Athen’s navy); then an ad for 13 (another Ocean’s 11-sequel), a promo for The Pathmaker, about the bloody Viking invasion of America before Columbus; and The Reaping (might as well be called “The Culling”), which is a Book of Revelations-based horror film along the lines of Demi Moore’s The Seventh Sign. What do you make of all this stuff? And have you had a chance to see 300? If so, what’s your read?

If we take a look to the height of our entertainment industry today,we find people going insane. So, we look to the top of this pyramid and we come back to the same occultic orders. Britney, Christina, and Justin all came through the castle gates of Walt Disney; a Freemason and FBI asset. It was Walt Disney that crafted the film “Sons of Liberty” to conceal the Masonic involvement in the Boston Tea Party and train us in Masonic worship; much like all of Mel Gibson’s films. Braveheart is a concealed story of the creation of Freemasonry in Scotland and England by the Templars.

Freemason, O.T.O. Illuminist, Alan Moore has now taken his place as a meta-programmer. He casts a trauma-based mind control programmer as a hero and now people dress up as him at protests.
Phoenix Pictures, whose icon is a code for Lucifer, makes films about Nazi worship, child labor camps, and genetic modification of humans. These are all top billing films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sigourney Weaver. The Nazi film was written by Stephen King. We are being programmed and our programmers are occultists that worship Lucifer. Deal with it.
So, when we get to films on prophecies like Revelations we find that it is a matter of interpretation. People are being programmed to believe a certain phrase will play out in a certain fashion. The Left Behind series is a prime example.

These movie makers are from beginning to end working for the intelligence agencies and therefore the occultists. The CIA was founded in the Skull and Bones tomb, was it not? The NSA created electromagnetic film. These are the filters that one must traverse in order to be at the top of entertainment. I believe that if they present the most evil people to us everyday, they will seem commonplace, and we could never believe they sacrifice babies under the moonlight.
These intelligence agencies, along with the military industrial complex have the ability to generate the very events they are saying will be God’s wrath. I certainly saw the news clip of the meteor directed over the HAARP facility and destroyed, sending hundreds of Anchorage townsfolk to their basements believing the end had come. Realize that the company, for which my father built nukes, has a ride at Disney World and you can start to see the picture.
There is much to this picture if you understand the methods of magicians. They seem to need us to acquiesce. GE will tell you, “Your imagination at work.” Yeah, working for them. Things are presented to us and we give our freewill agreement to it by cheering. Subjects can also be discredited by placing them in a TV show like the X-Files or like putting the truth about 911 in the Lone Gunman pilot episode before the events happened. Certainly, when Janet Reno and the State Department rolled up on the credits for The Truth About Waco TV movie, I knew these people were now capable of anything. We no longer cared. Events like Waco and the OKC bombing, along with being ritual murders, are dipsticks to see how deep our apathy goes.

You will get a clue of what is coming by a discerning eye in the theaters. It sure seems as if Star Wars Revenge of the Sith is the script by which America will fall. Bin Laden is General Grievous, the Senator becoming the Emperor. As I was saying 66 is the number of the fallen angels and equates to W. In Revenge of the Sith 66 is the code to kill all Jedi. W kills the Jedi. The newest war toys are presented in 007 films which are based on occultist/intelligence agent John Dee by occultist/intelligence agent Ian Fleming who also like to write about the caging of children. Speaking of child sacrifice, the latest 007 antagonist, Le Chiffre, is based on occultist/intelligence operative Freemason O.T.O. AA Aleister Crowley. Consider that his hand-written works are housed at the UT campus and you’ll start to get an idea of how deep this goes.

Conspiracy theory is a land-mine and conspiracy researchers can be, too. Certain sources and certain researchers themselves seem shady and seem like they might have shady agendas back of them once you read up about their history. Lots of strange bedfellows. I’m thinking of the Larouche people, as an example; or the racist Michael Hoffman; the late William Cooper and also James Shelby Downard would be cases in my opinion, and I think also Springmeier and Icke, whose stuff you’ve pulled from. What principles do you use to discern the wheat from the chaff when researching and looking at or using certain sources?

It’s really intuition. We have come to a point in time that we can no longer believe anything we see, hear, or feel. I’ve seen the flag Buzz Aldrin brought back from the moon with the Supreme Council of the Freemasons double-headed eagle embroidered onto it. I saw it at the Supreme Mother Temple of the World in D.C. I thought perhaps the proven fraudulent pictures taken of Freemasons Neil Armstrong and Buzz on the moon were faked to conceal the Masonic rituals being performed. You have to consider these things. Now, I have seen films like Astronauts Gone Wild and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon and I have no doubt that a trip to the moon was impossible and they absolutely faked it. What are we to think? The [former] Governor of Arizona ridiculed the questioning public that had witnessed a giant V shaped craft hovering over their city for days, and then came out last week to say that he actually saw this “alien craft.” He said it was “otherworldly” to witness and he felt the need to lie to and ridicule the people by bringing out his chief of staff dressed as a gray alien to not cause panic. He told them they were taking this all too serious, and now he says it’s all real!? We are being set up on all sides. These guys are masters of reality manipulation. I have a higher guidance as I’m sure we all have. You certainly don’t need a Bible to tell you which parts of the Bible represent good. The specifics are for those that need to attack a thing. I want my stuff to be incredible. I can’t be used by haters that want to make their point. I’m for dreamers that can manifest their own reality and take as many with them as they can.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe what I say. This is our world and I think the Anna Nicole story is David Icke’s Biggest Secret in real time. He like me simply followed the evidence no matter how weird it got. We all want to know why life is not good for the humans on planet earth. We sense home but, we can’t see it and can’t understand why we don’t live at home. This yearning leads to revelation.

You now live in Austin. What brought you there?

For many years I was on what could be termed a chatauqua; a traveling side show with a moral message. As I said, I left with my dog, my juggling sticks and a friend; the bat guy. We left Florida to parts unknown and I could, am writing a book about all these adventures. I spent 9 days living in the park in front of Bill Clinton’s White House protesting the mandating of permits to stay in the National Forests.
From there we followed a purple school bus to Pennsylvania and I just kept going. It’s a wondrous thing to be that free. For example, we were traveling south on 666 one night and decided that we might not want to go south on 666 whipped a U –turn and headed north. It didn’t matter. Sometimes I would settle in a town for a time. I have lived in every state in the US. When I felt the need or the Rainbow would call, I would quit my job and climb into another van with another friend. Each time I would show them the power of synchronicity that comes from a higher design. It is miraculous and best of all, it doesn’t require your decision; you simply do your best with what’s in front of you. I have absolute faith in this. If you knew how many events I simply walked into, you’d be jealous. I live up to the name, Freeman. Einstein did say that making decisions is the only thing that kills brain cells. That’s why he had only one type of suit.
So, one day a friend suggested that I go to Austin and sell glass pipes at SXSW; a very large concert. I had become a glass blower by then. I have been many things.
I made it to Austin with a dollar in my pocket. I had van difficulties the whole way. I only knew one person, a girl I had met in Kansas. We just made it to her place. We started selling our wares and making friends and I decided to stay another week. As time went on I moved my van to what’s known as Christmas Lights Street and started living there. The neighbors all liked me. Being liked is essential to synchronicity. I hung out at the coffee shop and strolled around. The streets were mine at night.
One day a man that had done my numerology on the bus left a note on my van with bus routes to a mall where that Bilderberger I had mentioned was talking. I jumped on the bus and listened and talked with George Greene about the alien technology and when we took a break we went out for a smoke. I have always thought my soul’s home is in Pleiadies and this man had showed us pictures of Shemyaza and the crew of the flying saucer and well, it turns out, I look Pleiadian. The saucer, by the way, is the one on Mulder’s poster; I want to believe.
So, I began talking with the audience from George’s lecture and began speaking on my findings and beliefs and another George, George Humphrey, said I should have a TV show. I was astounded. He said it would only take $180 and he would give me the money if I wanted to do it. My philosophy said absolutely and I became a film maker. I was still living in my van on Christmas Lights Street. I’m sure I have the film of Christmas celebration on Google.

Just watched the movie Jesus Camp for the first time recently.

During the first half of the documentary, there’s a scene where Pastor Becky Fischer angrily proclaims that “Harry Potter is a Warlock!” and that in Old Testament times he would have been killed. Presumably, the practice of magick is of Old Scratch and not Jesus, hence the condemnation.But then later in the documentary, Pastor Fischer has the kids of the camp engage in what is a very obvious act of ritual magick. After hyping up the children emotionally through chanting and prayer to God (they presume its the Christian one) and speeches, the kids are handed hammers with which to smash coffee cups, symbolizing the power of the liberal forces in the country that Pastor Becky and her young, weekend-wards aim to conquer.

It’s hard to see how different this is from, say, the following steps of a “traditional’ wiccan magick working (taken from here):

• After reaching out with one’s mind and connecting its resonance pattern intimately with the non-local web of wave patterns connecting everything, invoke deities whose natural function is related to the purpose of your ritual. If successful, this connects your mind to powerful, established, non-localized, intelligent resonance matrices that (hopefully) join in the magic.
• Focus on the target of the work, connecting with the target (usually by visualization and/or by an object link).
• While connected with the target, visualize the end result desired, thus creating a resonant template for the phenomenon one wants to achieve.
• Energize the resonance through dance, drumming, chants, pure channeling of will power, and/or other means.
• Release the energy into the target while strongly visualizing the target achieved (energizing the resonance in the target).

But, maybe that’s just me…
